My job as a dog trainer is to work with you to solve behavioural issues/challenges that your dog has and give you the practical tools and techniques to overcome these problems and make your lives happier together. All sessions will be held at your home but may, from time-time-to-time, be conducted at alternative locations to help socialise and expose your dog to different environments and situations.
As the owner of a nervous and anxious dog myself, I understand the frustration and struggles that many of you may have experienced with your dog. Whether you raised a puppy or have adopted an older dog, unwanted behavioural patterns can emerge that make living with your best friend frustrating and a struggle.
The origin of the underlying cause of any unwanted reactions towards other dogs, people and situations are sometimes difficult to determine. My goal as a dog trainer is to assist you and your dog to build confidence through activities that teach focus and calmness. I want you to reconnect with your dog and make your lives together more peaceful.
I won’t lie to you – this process may take some time and especially patience depending upon the problem your dog has. There is no quick fix, but by committing to use the techniques taught every day you can give your dog the confidence to make better decisions that will improve both your lives in the longer-term.
If you own a dog that suffers from a lack of confidence, anxiety or is just a bit naughty, then this service is for you. The longer you leave an undesirable behaviour untreated the stronger that behaviour will become ingrained in your dog.
